Our earliest interment for which there is a permanent marker stone is 1870. Since that time, we have welcomed about 230 remains to rest here in peace and respect. To those of you who make extra efforts to care for the space of your loved one(s), we thank you very much for helping to make our cemetery look nice. From time to time, we receive donations to assist with cemetery maintenance. Such donations are very much appreciated. Since we are not a perpetual care cemetery, the main cost of maintenance is borne by the church. Annual maintenance, mainly for grass cutting and trimming, is about $6,000.00 — a significant amount for a small church. If you would like to help financially, our mailing address is P.O. Special Veterans note: We have about 40 veterans interred from all branches of the armed forces. Many served in conflicts from the Civil War to Vietnam. We appreciate our Veterans and flag their graves twice a year, recognizing them on Memorial Day and again on Veterans Day. We include a short recognition event followed by the flagging.
